Peter Gregory will be giving a talk on ‘Behind the Scenes at Chelsea.’
For all of those who have visited or are planning to visit this world-famous flower show, this is a talk you don’t want to miss.
Peter will describe the construction of show gardens and floral displays in the Great Pavilion and colour combinations. He will also talk about how fashions for plants and gardens change with time and highlight some outstanding exhibits.
The Chelsea Flower Show takes place each year on the ten acre playing fields in front of the Royal Hospital, Chelsea. The Flower Show lasts one week and as soon as the Show finishes, work on planning the show for the following year begins.
Peter chairs a judging panel at Chelsea, so can give us some real insights on how judges are selected, how judging works and the criteria used to determine the medal class of exhibits.
