These beautiful private gardens are opening exclusively to our members under the National Garden Scheme (NGS). Lordington is an early C17 house (not open) and walled gardens situated in the South Downs National Park with fine views.

The Gardens have fine examples of clipped Yew, lawns, borders and a kitchen garden containing vegetables, fruit and poultry. 100+ roses planted since 2008, trees, both mature and young, and a lime avenue planted in 1973 to replace Elms. Wild flowers in field outside walls, accessible from the garden.

Refreshments (tea, coffee, cake) and a tour led by the owner, Mrs Audrey Hamilton, are included in the price – with £6.00 pp being donated to the NGS.
