One of our most popular programs throughout the year is our Members Open Gardens where members get the opportunity to visit other peoples’ gardens. It gives us all the chance to get new ideas for our own gardens, learn about different gardening challenges members may have and to discuss plants with other gardening enthusiasts.
Thanks to Heather Hayter and Gill Sadler who organise the refreshments for these events, it’s also an opportunity to have a relaxed cup of tea or coffee while chatting to fellow members.
We encourage you to think about opening your own garden. It’s very informal and there are no expectations of perfection (most of us have some weeds lurking in the borders!) members just enjoy the opportunity to share.
So if you would be willing to open up your garden for other members to visit, please get in touch at info@emshs.org.uk
We know you will enjoy all the gardens you visit. Clink on the gardens below for more details on each one.
