Perennial is the UK’s only charity supporting everyone working in or retired from the horticultural community. Working in horticulture isn’t always straightforward. Challenges such as seasonality of work, physical injury, isolated working or risk of financial hardship can arise when least expected.

As the charity for the industry, Perennial has a unique understanding of these challenges. A range of free, confidential advice and support services are available, both online and in-person, including a network of caseworkers and debt advisers across the UK, that assist horticulturists and their families when they need it.

The charity raises vital funds to support the delivery and development of these services and also runs a select number of gardens across the country, giving opportunities to people passionate about developing careers in horticulture.

By offering people the right support at the right time, Perennial helps to build better lives for all those within horticulture – as it has done for over 185 years.

Perennial’s Exclusive Garden Tour Programme 2026 offers garden-lovers the chance to visit 14 of the UK’s most prestigious and private estates, whilst also raising vital income for the charity. These carefully curated tours offer individuals an opportunity to indulge in special garden tour experience – whether you’re looking to treat yourself or someone you know to a personalised day out that will leave you wanting more.

Join Head Gardener Benjamin Pope for a guided tour of an exceptional eight-acre garden, beautifully restored by renowned designer Arne Maynard and the current owners. This hidden gem blends formal and informal elements with topiary, hedges, ancient trees and historic buildings, creating a rich and atmospheric landscape.

The garden features traditional borders interplanted with roses and annuals, offering a sensory experience full of colour and fragrance.
