Drought Resistant Plants talk March 2023

Our March talk by Steve Edney, who described himself as a gardener of 30 years, retired tree surgeon and jack of all trades,was attended by some 80 people.

Steve who was head gardener at the Salutation Garden in Sandwich until 2020, has started his own project ‘The Land’ and together with his partner Louise have also build ‘The No Name Nursery’a sustainable plant nursery in Kent.

Steve, who is a gold medal winner at both Chelsea and Hampton Court Flower Shows, took us on a whirlwind tour of drought tolerant plants he has used in his own garden and for other gardens such as Canterbury Cathedral.
